Regina was a girl who was very clever. She had one defect though. She couldn't read. She was dyslexic. Letters would appear backwords or upside down. When she married Draker, marcus, he helped her learn. She had to feel the letters just to know its actually formation.
Draker, marcus, was a very stubborn man. He stayed awat from society. He never shaved his beard because he had a horrible burn across his cheek and down his chin from when he was a boy and his mom burned him with a poker. When he was little, his mom mistreated him. She locked him in a dungeon for three days and he thought it was the prince of wales, his birth father, who did that to him. He marries Regina and she makes him a whole different person. He is a gentleman. He doesn't have a beard and he doesn't mind going out into society.
They have a son named a Jasper. And thats the end of the book.
Ratings: 5 stars
Recommend: Most definetly
Current read: One night with a prince-Sabrina Jeffries

My books I got today!!!!

only with your love-Lisa Kleypas
Angel-Johanna Lindsey
Lady be good-Susan Elizabeth Phillips
This Heart of Mine-Susan Elizabath Phillips

yay!! now i have 20 historical romance books on my list my mom printed out!!! I loved Katherine. She was a woman who spoke her mind and was very smart. She spoke for herself and never let anyone else do it for her. She was confused though, as i thought, about Sydney and her feelings for him. She thought she loved him and that he was the only man for her and to tell you, i think he wasn't really a man to be with. He couldn't picture himself laying in bed next to her let alone the fact that he couldn't even kiss her. Katherine was a girl who had a fortune of one-hundred-thousand pounds but couldn't get it til she married. It was from her grandfather. Her father when she was little got into a lot of things and now they had a debt to pay but they didn't have the money so she was waiting for the proposal from Sydney. But then Alec came along.
Alec to me was a man who went out of his way and fulfilled every girls desire. He was a fortune hunter looking to marry a heiress so he could fix his estate. His half brother, Byrne, was the man katherines family owed five thousand pounds to. He helped Alec find a heiress by telling him about katherine. Alec went to a party and saw her there. He fell in love with her when he saw her. She loved the way he looked at her. After that , he did everything in his power to make her fall in love with him because he found out that Sydney told katherine all this gossip about him and he had to prove to her that none of it was really true. That the real story was hidden.
In the end she marries him and she becomes a countess and his name becomes true.

My rating: 5 stars

Current read: Sabrina Jeffries- To pleasure a prince
